Introducing the Phoenix Project

The Youth Violence Intervention Unit (YVIU) was launched by the Force in February 2024 and so far, has helped 402 young people aged between eight and 17-years-old. Following feedback from young people who have been through the scheme, the service will now be called the Phoenix Project.

Parents, young people and professionals can refer into the Phoenix Project if they have concerns about a young person, or if you feel in too deep, you can make a referral via our website here.
